| Habitus | Small branchy tree to 7 m ht; dbh 20 cm with an open crown. Bark grey and thin with marked lenticels outer bark peeling, inner bark green. Virtually leaftless; leaves trifoliate. Abundant ripe reddish brown pods, 1-3 seed per pod heavily predated by bruchids. |
