Habitat

Clumps at edge of river on igapó forest

Habitus

climbing and hanging from trees, ca. 4-6m high. Inflorescences abundantly produced.

Annotations

Only this clump seen in flower.
Same bamboo common and collected early down river (K&G 79-209) but sterile.
